This week we were exposed to a new technique that enables us to think about solutions to our need. The technique is called "Brainstorming". In that way, each one of us thought about different solutions, we wrote them on sticky notes and then put them on a white board.
We divided all the solutions to 3 categories: applicable, not applicable and surprising.

After that we had to draw a timeline that describes the entire process of the persona, beginning with the moment she is waiting at the bus station, till the moment she arrives to the destination. We introduced the timeline in front of the class. This was the final result:

Right after that, we used another technique: Body storming. We had to use costumes and to play a specific scene from the timeline. We decided to choose the scene in which the passengers enter the bus and interact with the bus driver. One of us took the role of the nice passenger who blesses the driver and say "Hello" and "Thank you". Another person took the role of the frustrated passenger who is angry and rude.

A few days after the class we met in order to talk about the storyboard we had to prepare. During the conversation we discussed and decided to change a bit our need and our persona. We have made many changes from the beginning but in that way we understand and focus on a need that really requires a solution. Finally, we changed our need: Receiving a full service and relevant information during the ride, without the intervention of the driver. Accordingly, we also changed a our persona- now it is the passenger.
Finally we started to draw the storyboard, here you can see the process:
