This week, we interviewed bus drivers in order to reach a fuller understanding of the traveling experience inside the bus.
During the week, we encountered a number of difficulties, such as drivers weren't willing to talk during the course of the driving.
Some of the drivers agreed to speak during their drive, and they also said that some of the difficulties they experience is the feeling of being ignored during boarding the bus, even what was considered to be minimal interaction of honor such as saying hello is no longer spoken and drivers are often forgotten.
Contrary to these drivers were drivers who shared and said they do not want any interaction with passengers, deliberately do not create a pleasant atmosphere and they desire to come out as a person that you should not mess with.
In an attempt to get to the bottom of the matter, one of the drivers was told: "When I talk to you in a conversation here, you are very pleasant and intelligent, but on the bus, you will meet a very different person. The driver said, " The work as a driver is abrasive".
The road situation today is very dangerous and requires full attention, scooters / bicycles / motorcycle that ride without a helmet and bus drivers are forced to be extra careful not to hurt them. In the eye of one driver his job is to bring the passengers safely from point A to point B and not provide a pleasant driving experience.

"You do not have to say thank you, but I brought you safely, I went with the bus to the edge of the sidewalk so you would not step in a puddle, I maneuvered all the dangers on the road and you did not notice at all."
During the week and various talks, we discovered that, as there are different types of passengers, so there are different drivers. With different education, values, and various sensitivity points. So, things that bother driver A cannot interfere with driver B and vice versa. For example-
One driver said that during his ride he must be quiet and not even turn on music. He wants only a quiet work environment. A second driver said that without music he could not drive, and he must have a beat in his ears.
Another driver said that in the past he would comment on behavior of passengers that that interfere during the ride, such as a trolley blocking the walking lane. Today, after realizing that the passengers do not obey him, he decided not to care anymore and simply wait for a passenger to ask himself to clear the eyelet to prevent any nerves.
In terms of the responsibility for the passengers and the bus itself, we found drivers who were divided on this matter. Some of the drivers testified that they know that the bus is their responsibility and therefore feel responsible for the passengers, and some have completely renounced the sense of responsibility in question.
We understood that there is a problem among the bus drivers, who also feel a lack of appreciation on the part of the passengers, because they are the first faces that the passenger sees while stepping on to the bus.

During the process we realized that the problem of public transportation is a national problem that affects the nervous levels of all concerned. Drivers who must drive traffic jams are therefore late and do not meet the schedule and passengers who do not board the buses according to their schedule and need to wait and often be late because of the above.
The combination of these problems and the initial interaction between the driver and passengers leads to a lack of positive relationship between them. From all the above, we have come to the conclusion that the common need for all passengers and drivers on the bus is to improve the relationship between the driver and his passengers.
